- New JS calling syntax
- New in-line ShowMenu function shows menu in-line with game text, neatly fading out after a selection or next turn (sponsored by Phillip Zolla)
- Walkthroughs now record/playback ASLEvent calls
- Editor script adder is now a pop-up instead of an expander
- New Code View for the Script Editor
- List and dictionary attribute types can hold any attribute type as a value - new ASLX formats for these are detailed on the wiki
- New text processor (see http://quest5.net/wiki/Text_processor)
- Object and exit hyperlinks now switch off when not in scope, and the menu always has the current displayverbs or inventoryverbs as appropriate

- When adding a duplicate object name, a unique object name is generated and the entered name is used as the alias
